Collecting art is addictive. Once you have one piece, you’re now a collector, and chances are you want more. If you’re new to this whole area, where do you start ? How do you work out what is good , and what is great ? How do you know what's it's worth ? Well we aim to only show you truly great work, so we are trying to help you. You have to take your time, research the field, look at as much as you can, and with the information you have gathered, let your eyes be the judge of whether the piece is worth it to you. If it’s not, don’t buy it. You have to live with it, and you have to love it.

The limited edition photographs we sell aren’t cheap. We make no apologies for this. If you want the best, it has to hurt a little. There are a small number of truly talented people in any chosen field, and photography is no exception. Work by these photographers comes at a price. Our aim is to only bring you the very best, and we are constantly looking for great pieces, by both established and comparatively unknown photographers : wherever possible, work that has not been exhibited before anywhere in the world.

We realise that you want information quickly and easily, so we know that it might be disappointing when we don’t carry specific price information next to individual items - we don’t have a shopping basket type website. Please understand that prices do vary over time - sometimes quite rapidly - and trying to keep the website up to date with prices for every item just isn't possible unfortunately.

If you do see something you like, please get in touch and we will provide you with all the relevant price information for the pieces in question. Ask about as few or as many as you want: it’s no trouble. You can call us on 0121 748 3408 ( callers from the US : it’s 011 44 121 748 3408) or email us at : info@snapgalleries.com. We aim to respond to all enquiries on the same day.

Husbands. Chances are you are going to have to swing any purchase past your wives. You may be lucky - they may love it as much as you do. But if they don’t, remember these words of wisdom kindly provided by a very good customer, Mr Peter Cooper : it’s easier to beg forgiveness than to ask permission.
