Kate Bush features on a beautiful limited edition souvenir poster to celebrate our 45 RPM Furr & Mankowitz exhibition
To celebrate our 45 RPM exhibition with Christian Furr and Gered Mankowitz we are delighted to present this beautiful signed limited edition souvenir poster featuring one of the Kate Bush artworks in the exhibition – a collaborative piece worked on by both Gered and Christian. The 45 RPM Furr & Mankowitz exhibition features 45 original artworks and runs at the gallery from 17 February to 17 March 2018.
The original artwork which appears in the poster is called ‘Kate – Deep Rose’, a very large format piece measuring 107 x 107 cm / 42 x 42 inches, made on aluminium, based on one of Gered Mankowitz’s original black and white photographs from the 1978 Wuthering Heights session with Kate Bush – and which both Gered and Christian have worked on to create the final colour artwork that appears in the exhibition. It’s a beautiful piece, and a perfect illustration of the fruits of the collaboration between the two artists.
Gered and Christian’s 45RPM originals retail in the £000s, but both artists wanted to create something at a much more affordable price for all our dedicated Kate Bush collector base. So here it is – this fabulous limited edition poster.
Each limited edition poster is printed on heavyweight 250 gsm paper, and will be personally signed by both Christian Furr and Gered Mankowitz. Just 200 will be made. The example you see here is shown without the signatures. Dimensions are a generous 59.4 x 59.4cm ( 23 x 23 inches) and each is supplied in a sturdy tube.
Signed posters will ship in the first week of the exhibition – in the week commencing Monday 19 February 2018.
It is a really beautiful piece – a perfect showcase for the collaboration between Gered and Christian that has resulted in the fine exhibition that runs 17 February to 17 March 2018 at the gallery.
