Jim Marshall passed away in 2010, and is well known to clients of the gallery. Jim has a well deserved reputation as one of the most important photographers within the music genre, who witnessed and photographed some of the most important events in the history of rock and roll. Examples include Johnny Cash playing at Folsom Prison, The Beatles playing their last concert at Candlestick Park, Jimi Hendrix setting fire to his guitar at the Monterey Festival to name just a few.
We are delighted to be able to offer two important signed photographs by Jim that rarely see the light of day.
First up, Johnny Cash and June Carter, a sumptuous signed platinum print.
Second up, a beautiful signed dye transfer of Jimi Hendrix at Monterey.
These are serious pieces with five figure price tags, but please do get in touch if you are interested.
