It turns out that 1989 was a good year for classic albums. De La Soul’s debut, Three Feet High and Rising, was released to considerable acclaim in March 1989. It pipped The Stone Roses debut to number one spot in NME’s 1989 album of the year chart.
We hosted the launch of designer Toby Mott’s limited edition print of the album artwork at the gallery, and you can now see a video of him talking about the print.
The print is made in a worldwide limited edition of just 60 examples, with an image size measuring in at a very generous 20×20 inches, and has been signed by Toby Mott.
