Sometimes you get so used to seeing images from a particular session in black and white that when you see a colour shot it freaks you out. This just happened to me with this beautiful Michael Putland portrait of John Lennon. Michael made this photograph in the very room that John Lennon recorded the "Imagine" video, at John’s house in Ascot.Michael remembers knocking on the front door, John opening it, putting his arm round him, and greeting him "Hello mate. Come on in. We’re just making bread…."
