Vernon Dewhurst – newly discovered Space Oddity session images

Vernon Dewhurst re-discovers 1969 David Bowie images, 52 years on.

Vernon Dewhurst took the cover photograph for David Bowie’s 1969 Space Oddity LP. For many years has been trying to locate the other photographs from that shoot. Finally, after years of hunting, he has been reunited with these long lost images.

Vernon has selected three previously unpublished 1969 session photographs to release as signed limited editions. Each image is square, which means they work equally well as a set (particularly in the small 10×12 inch paper size) or individually.

As Vernon explains: “They show a very young David, no make up, no photoshop, just a very beautiful guy.”
