We are delighted to be working with talented local artist Jamie Byrne (aka Jaymokid), and are displaying four of his large format artworks in one of the front windows of the gallery. Well, it was four, but people keep buying them!
We are showing the first in what will become a larger series of individual Britpop portraits – with the first subjects being Liam and Noel Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft and Ian Brown. Jamie draws these in a distinctive graphic novel style, characterised by tight cropping. They look really amazing.
Collectors can choose a small version with a 13 x 13 inch image in a 20 x 20 inch mount, or a dramatic 35 x 35 inch version on canvas in a distressed wooden frame. Both sizes are excellent value – and are being offered at a very keen launch price – which will rise in due course. I would encourage you to act now if you want to lock in to the best price.
