A selection of Darkness period (1977-79) work from Eric Meola’s new Bruce Springsteen book, Streets of Fire
It’s a pleasure to announce the publication of Streets of Fire, a new book of Bruce Springsteen photographs by Eric Meola, which features images from 1977/9 – the Darkness on the Edge of Town period. Eric’s Bruce Springsteen archive is unmatched and needs no introduction to clients of the gallery.
Streets of Fire comes in a regular 10 x 10 inch trade version, and a special 1,000 copy signed limited edition in a larger 12 x 12 inch format. Each book in the limited edition is signed by Eric Meola, and each one is accompanied by a separate 12 x 12 inch print signed by Eric, with the book and the loose print contained in a cloth slipcase with silver foil stamping.
It’s a great book in either size. Streets of Fire features more than 70 black and white photographs of Bruce Springsteen, insightful essays and lyrics to many of his songs.
To coincide with the release of the book in the UK, we will be showing a selection of Eric’s photographs from the book on the gallery walls, and also displaying copies of the ultra large format limited edition book Born To Run Revisited.
While stocks last, we will be offering copies of all these great books to gallery visitors.
