The Lightbox on show in the exhibition is 180 cm x 60 cm and is 40mm deep. It has an integral split batten system for hanging. The image covers the entire front of the box with no visible frame and the edges are black acrylic. It is illuminated by high power LEDs through a dimmable transformer which has a small integral fan inside for cooling (similar to a computer) and can be stored in a cupboard or on the floor below the Lightbox. The Lightbox itself produces virtually no heat whatsoever and can be operated 24/7/365 if required, uses very little power and has a life of many years.
