• A set of four screen prints produced by Bob Whitaker around 2005. Just 25 sets of these bold and dramatic screen prints were produced. Each print is made on on 27.5 x 39.5 inch paper, and numbered out of 25 under the image area in pencil. One print (Paul McCartney) in each set has been signed by Bob Whitaker. They are sold as a complete set of four. The price is for the set, unframed, excluding VAT. We have a framed set that we will sell for the unframed price to a UK purchaser, with free delivery in the UK. Framed dimensions approx 30 x 40 inches for each of the four prints.   Individual image sizes vary from Beatle to Beatle and are as follows: John: image size 23.5 x 30 inches George: image size 23.5 x 30.75 inches Paul: image size 23.5 x 23.5 inches Ringo: image size 23.5 x 23.5 inches

    From an original black and white photograph by David Porter taken in 1963, and subjected to a painstaking 200 hour colourisation process in 2015 by Michael Spencer Jones.
  • Archival pigment print, 10 x 16 inch image size, limited edition of 10. Signed by Duffy on the front, numbered and ink-stamped on reverse. Price for unframed photograph excluding VAT. Shot by Duffy in 1965 for John Lennon’s book John Lennon: an anthology of Lennon’s poetry. This photograph appeared on the rear cover and the book was designed by Alan Aldridge who nicknamed himself ‘The man with the Kaleidoscope Eyes’ from the Beatles song ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’. John frequently stopped by to see Duffy at home and once asked ‘Can I bring my mate Ringo in..?’

    This photo was taken by Duffy in 1965 after the Beatles had returned to the UK from playing at the Shea Stadium New York that had been the highlight of their U.S. tour. Lennon had picked up this box in a New York novelty store which had been sold to him as a ‘UFO detector.’ It had lights that went on and off intermittently and he brought it to Duffy’s studio for the amusement of the studio team.

    This mini contact sheet of nine individual frames consists of images taken by Duffy in 1965 after the Beatles had returned to the UK from playing at the Shea Stadium, New York.
