Eric Meola, Born To Run sessions: Back To Back
£ 2,312 – £ 5,783Photograph © Eric Meola, registered with U.S. Copyright Office -
Archival dye transfer photograph, image size 30 x 30 inches, limited edition of 5 Photograph © Eric Meola, registered with U.S. Copyright Office "Darkness," is a very special photograph. Bruce is behind the wheel of the car - not that you'd know - and that's part of the beauty of it. It is a grand sweeping photograph, drama in the mountains and skies, with the car seeming to flash white light from its' position dead centre of the vanishing point. Eric made ten of these beautiful dye transfer photographs in this large format. They are not being made available in other sizes. Of the ten, he reserved five for himself, family and friends. The remaining five were offered to collectors. ALL FIVE ARE NOW SOLD - BUT FROM TIME TO TIME AN EXAMPLE MAY COME BACK ON THE MARKET

Eric Meola, Darkness sessions: Valmy
£ 10,181 – £ 20,363A convenience store and gas station in the very small town of Valmy, Nevada, off of route 80. Photographed on a road trip from Salt Lake City to Reno, Nevada in 1977. The idea was to make photographs, especially landscapes, that echoed the themes on the "Darkness" album. Out of this trip, Bruce wrote the song "The Promised Land." Eric recalls: "The day after Elvis died, we flew out to Utah to shoot for Darkness on the Edge of Town, and after driving all night through towns with names like Beowawe, Winnemucca and Valmy, I remember trying to fall asleep one night in Elko; but it wasn't easy, laying on the hood of the Ford Galaxie we had been driving across the desert, with dogs howling somewhere in the distance." "Valmy" was rumoured to be a possible cover for Darkness on the Edge of Town.Photograph © Eric Meola, registered with U.S. Copyright Office

David Wedgbury: Marianne Faithfull, collar and cuffs
£ 250 – £ 2,500 -
Lawrence Watson: Paul Weller, Piano
£ 595 – £ 3,500This was taken at the Manor during the recording of Stanley Road. Here Paul seems engulfed by the piano, microphones and other studio equipment framing his face in the photograph. He's oblivious to it all though, totally immersed in the music playing back through his headphones. Note the Beatles songbook close to hand, also reflected in the inner lid of the piano.
