This beautiful new limited edition artwork by Ben the Illustrator is available to purchase in a choice of sizes. The two smaller sizes (small and medium) are archival pigment prints on paper, and prices for these are shown unframed. We can quote you for a frame if you would like us to organise framing/delivery. Just let us know when you put your order in for an unframed print, and we will confirm the cost—which will vary depending on the size, type of glass and your location. Large and Ultra-large sizes are ChromaLuxe prints on high-gloss coated aluminium. ChromaLuxe prints are the absolute perfect match for Ben’s vibrant artworks. If you haven’t seen a ChromaLuxe print before, you are in for a treat. They have an ultra-high-gloss finish, with richly saturated colours and a jewel-like appearance. The technique uses a process called dye-sublimation to fuse the image directly on to a 1.25 mm thick panel of white-coated aluminium—which gives them in-built structural rigidity. They hang straight on the wall without additional framing because there is a special subframe on the reverse—this allows the artwork to hang on the wall while appearing to float. Additional framing/glazing is not required (as ChromaLuxe has a scratchproof surface) but can be arranged as an option. Picture This 1978 is a portfolio box set of 25 signed limited edition photographs of Debbie Harry and Blondie taken in the UK and USA by Martyn Goddard in 1978 when the band were at the peak of their powers. Each 10 x 12 inch photograph is signed and numbered on the front under the image area by Martyn Goddard, and all the photographs in each set have matched edition numbers. Each photograph is contained in its own transparent protective sleeve. The set of 25 photographs are housed in a faux-leather grey clamshell portfolio box with silver embossing, along with a separate three page background note with Martyn's recollections of the sessions, which is also signed and numbered by Martyn. There is also a single page sheet of small 'thumbnail' images and captions, so that you can keep the 10x12 photographs in the correct sequence (if you want to). Just 20 box sets will be made available to collectors. The dimensions of the box are 13 x 10.5 x 3 inches. There are no extra delivery charges anywhere in the world. Prices are shown excluding VAT, which is added at checkout for UK deliveries. Please allow two weeks between order and despatch.
