Read all about Ben's work here This image is made as a Chromaluxe print. Chromaluxe printing is an archivally stable process that produces prints with outstanding depth and an ultra-high-gloss finish. The technique uses a process called dye sublimation to fuse the image directly on to a 1.2mm panel of white-coated aluminium. The resulting print has richly saturated colours and a jewel-like appearance. A subframe on the reverse allows the print hang on the wall while appearing to float. Additional framing/glazing is not required (as ChromaLuxe has a scratchproof surface) but can be arranged as an option. ChromaLuxe prints are very light and are easy to ship. There are no additional shipping charges anywhere in the world. These are made to order - please allow three weeks between order and delivery.

This is the first of Jamie Byrne's incredible graphic novel album commissions, in which he takes a favourite LP and represents each of the tracks in graphic novel style. Jamie will create a bespoke original commission for you, focusing on your album of choice, made with a 100 x 100 cm image size (or a smaller size of your choice to suit your space). Each original commission is made on high-gloss coated aluminium, framed in a tray frame without glazing, and signed and numbered 1/1 by Jamie on the reverse. Once an original is created, Jamie makes limited editions of 10 with a 50 x 50 cm / 20 x 20 inch (approx) image and 10 with a 75 x 75 cm / 30 x 30 inch (approx) image. The limited editions are archival pigment prints on paper, and can be supplied unframed or framed. Prices for the limited editions are shown without frames.

Whether or not Keith Moon drove a Rolls-Royce, a Chrysler Wimbledon or indeed any other car into a swimming pool, and whether or not the pool had water in it at the time, does not really matter. It was a symbolic statement of rock’n’roll excess, and Bonehead was right - it was a great basis for an album cover. The original number plate on the Rolls Royce, MDH 119K was changed to SYO 724F. This was the number plate featured on the police van on the cover of Abbey Road; another nod to rock ‘n’ roll cultural history.
